Christmas Decor Tags and Cards

I love when there is time during the Christmas season to create with a Christmas theme.  I managed a couple of decor tags to add to my collection to hang around the house.

Front and back

Both tags began on craft paper embossed with an embossing folder that I inked with red inks before running it through the embossing machine.  Then embellished with die cuts and stamping.

Following are Christmas cards I managed to get made this year.

I wish a very merry little Christmas to one and all!
Be safe and be happy.
May the world have the happiest New Year ever!

Money and Gift Card Wrapping

It gets a little harder every year to come up with a different money gift holder from the previous years.  But once again, I made it happen.

I used the 1-2-3 Punch Board to create these envelope style holders for money gifts.  I folded in three sides of the envelope and left one end open.

I then embossed the holders and used a variety of dies to cut the designs for the ornament embellishment.  I used Graphmaster Metallic Brush pens to color the holly leaves green and made the berries silver.  Letter dies to add names.

I embossed in red words from Tim Holtz Tidings Mini stamps then framed them using a cutting die.  I left them long enough to write personal messages on each.  Then I clipped the tag to the money.  A little wired and curled ribbon added to the top with a string to hang and DONE.

For a gift card, I used the Tim Holtz Pocket Envelope Bigz die.

Embellishing the envelope with snowflake dies, and a stamped and embossed Do Not Open tag.  The ties are attached with snowflake brads and tied with a soft blue and white cord.  I spattered white paint for a snowy appearance.  I needed to keep it rather flat to mail inside a card.

February Paper Crafting

Because it’s February, there was some heart themed paper crafting happening.

I only made two Valentine cards.

For Postcrossing, it is a bit rare that people will gladly accept handmade postcards.  Most want “real” postcards.  What?...what isn’t real about a postcard of any kind if it can travel through the mail?

I got lucky with a couple of Postcrossers that were open to handmade postcards.

I always have a grand time playing with hearts.

Creepy Birthdays

My children and grandchildren love themselves some creep.

I got into my daughter’s creep stash and made them all creepy happy birthday cards this year.

It was fun to make cards outside the ordinary box.
Especially for birthdays.

Busy Doing

Hello!  Yes, I’m still here.
I’ve just been “doing” a little more rather than computing so much.

I created little tags to add to my sewn gifts.  Such a fun little detail to make and pin to gift items.  Three sizes can be made.  It’s the little things that thrill me.

This puzzle has sat around for a bunch of years waiting for me to put it together.

With my long time love for mail, I recognize so, so many stamps from over the years.

Birthday card for one of my creepy loving family members.  Each one of them (four) are getting a birthday card with a skeleton on it.  Each skeleton different.

Of course I’ve kept up with my calendar journaling no matter what.  Just behind with sharing the completed months.
I loved having the space between the weeks to add little extra happenings.

With less computing, I’ve had time for more reading.
Okay, I think that was an excuse...the real reason is so many of the stories just grab my attention and won’t let go until I know the ending.

Work days (Tue, Wed, Thur) don’t leave much time for notable happenings to document.  That’s okay too.  I sure don’t mind looking around for something a little fun to put into those day blocks.

I’ve prepared a couple of new months.  They just begin to sneak up on me so fast!

I’ve been sewing some but haven’t gotten anything finished to share yet.

So little time to do it all!

Greetings Mail

Greetings.....
Birthday, Thank You and Get Well Wishes.

These are what have been keeping me busy.

A birthday greeting pocket tag.  I tucked a quick little letter into the pocket.

A thank you for some yummy Christmas goodies.

Another thank you for something special.

The envelope is made from scrapbook paper using the 1-2-3 Punch.

And some Washi tape to dress it up a little more.

A birthday card for my creep-loving grandson.

Lastly, I still buy cards when I see ones I like.  This one is full of happy glitter.

Then I try to gussy-up the inside so that it isn’t like every other store bought card.  I added a little stamping and a die cut flower.  The hearts are also die cut but they are loose inside the card.

Of course the envelope can’t be any ole normal envelope when it comes from me.  Just can’t send it without adding some fun to it.

I might be finished with January greetings now.  We never really know until the month is over do we.

Now I really need to uncover my sewing machine...
